The International Day of Archeology is an event organized within the scope of the approval of a research project on the Medieval Graveyard of Touças, a magical place dated from the Middle Age. The event intended to divulge the general lines of the project, inviting to the initiative some of the project's researchers and consultants such as Professor Doctor Jorge Lopez Quiroga, from the Autonomous University of Madrid, specialist in High Medieval History and Archeology.
Other project collaborators and researchers such as Gerardo Vidal Gonçalves (Principal Researcher), Dina Borges Pereira, Fátima Almeida and Sérgio Pereira presented contributions in the scope of the project.
